Poker- Draw poker and Stud poker

Draw Poker- In early poker games, players were dealt were......about-poker

Inearly poker games, players were dealt five cards upon which they bet, there was no provision for players to change any of this cards- it was a game of deal, bet, showdown. When the concept was introduced of allowing players, after what now became the first betting interval, to replace them, before a second round of betting took place, the game became called 'Draw Poker' to distinguish it from the earlier game, which is now not widely played at all. Nowadays the name 'Draw Poker' is retained to distingguish it from form of stud poker. It remains the most common from of poker played at home and begginers are advised to master it before attempting stud, Hold'em.
The version described first is the basic game, which might be called 'Straight Drwa Poker' but in the USA a slight variation called 'Jackpots' is so popular that it is being described as the main game, and this version as a variation, called somthing link 'Anything opens'. 'Draw' is a slight misnomer, since players do not 'draw' thier replacement card, which are dealt to them by the dealer. The game is best for between five and seven players.

Stud Poker
The main distinguishing features between Stud Poker and Draw Poker are that in stud there is no draw and most of the cards are dealt face up.
The basic game is five-card stud poker, in which there are four betting intervals. Because most of the cards are dealt face up, each player know much more about the other players' hand than in Draw Poker, giving more scope for strategy.
Because there is no Draw, it is posible to play with up to ten players, although should all ten players stay in to the showdown only two cards will not be used in the play, and 40 will be exposed the longer players might take pondering the chances of improving their hands the game could become clumsy. the game is best with six to eight players, although it is a better game than Draw Poker if there are fewer players, and can be played with plenty of action with only two players, as the film The Cincinnati kid' demonstrated.
